WORK

I’ve spent much of the last decade supporting Cal Poly’s brand through high-quality video production.

As the director and lead producer for Cal Poly’s video team since 2014, I fulfill multiple roles and responsibilities for the university - from leading cross-functional teams to assisting in marketing strategies - but my passion lies in spearheading the production of tentpole videos. Our most recent project, featured below, highlights the opening of the university’s new $5 million plant conservatory.

In the fall of 2022, in an effort to showcase the accomplishments of each campus in the CSU system, we were responsible for creating a capstone video, featured below, for the Board of Trustees. Overseeing this endeavor was the Chair of the Board, Wenda Fong, renowned for her supervision of popular reality-based shows such as American Idol, So You Think You Can Dance, and Hell's Kitchen, among others. After our video premiered at the Board of Trustees meeting,

we received abundant praise and recognition from Chair Fong herself, as well as from Cal Poly’s leadership team.

In 2019, our creative team collaborated with an external branding firm, SimpsonScarborough, to refresh the Cal Poly brand. Our video team took full ownership of the video production process, independently handling all aspects without the firm’s guidance. The project, featured below, served as a cornerstone piece to demonstrate the university's Learn by Doing philosophy and effectively capture the essence of the Cal Poly brand.

Below, you will discover a curation of standout examples that showcase the breadth of our team’s work during my tenure at Cal Poly. While these samples primarily represent my contributions to the university,

I am confident that the valuable expertise and experience I have gained over the years can help prospective clients achieve their marketing goals.
